Somerset County Council has been a long standing ATRIUM customer using our Development Control, Enforcement and Highways module.

ATRIUM and Somerset County Council are working in partnership to develop an 'On-Line Planning Application' module which will include the facility to download any applications, into the ATRIUM 'Development Control' module, received via the 'On-Line Planning Application' module or from the National Planning Portal.

This software will comply with the E-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF). The web browser application will be integrated with back end systems using XML.

Somerset's current Portal displays planning applications received and decisions made against those. This will be further developed and designed to include documents, such as Decision Notices, which are stored within the Development Control module and map images.

The company are very pleased to be carrying out this work with Somerset County Council and know that this will ensure that the modules developed are exactly what our customers require.
