Network Rail and ATRIUM Software Ltd have just signed a major new deal to extend Network Rail's current use of the ATRIUMproperty Asset Management system. Previously Network Rail has implemented the Forward Maintenance module, used in conjunction with Handheld data capture devices to capture stock and condition survey data for the Railway Estates assets. The extension, which will be implemented over the next 12 months, sees use of the system being extended to include all the modules of ATRIUMproperty. Network Rail will use the system to produce their future work plans as well as carrying out the work against those plans. The system will be hosted by ATRIUM as an Application Services Provider (ASP) solution.
