At the recent RTPI 'Planning Convention 2005' held in London Paul Kilner, Director of the Planning Portal strongly endorsed Somerset County Council and their approach to providing e-Planning services for the Minerals and Waste applications. In an answer to a question from the floor he recommended all County Councils who do not have an Internet solution to contact Somerset with a view to adopting their system.

Somerset have worked closely with ATRIUM Software Ltd to provide a complete solution to the Pendleton requirements before the next Audit in the Autumn.
