ATRIUMplanning 8i continues to move forward a pace with three new releases in the last six months offering new modules as well as enhancements to existing ones.

Version 8.0, which runs on the Oracle 10g platform, was released in November 2006. This included a range of enhancements, spread across the whole ATRIUMplanning product portfolio, notably in aGIS (ATRIUM's stand-alone GIS module linked to Development Control), plus new functionality in the ATRIUMplanning Highways module to enable interfacing with a third party LLPG.

Version 8.1, released in March 2007, saw the launch of the ATRIUMplanning Online Enforcements Search (OES) module, which enables citizens to search for and review progress on all current investigations and enforcement activity. In addition, there were major enhancements to ATRIUMplanning's interface with the two major GIS products (ie MapInfo and ESRI's ArcMap), enabling the ATRIUMplanning 8i Development Control module to engage with these third party GIS products for map capture and neighbourhood consultation address list generation.

Version 8.2 is due for release in June 2007 and will see the launch of several exciting new e-Planning products, plus further enhancements to the Highways and aGIS ...
