ATRIUM Software arrives on time.The implementation of Network Rail's Operational Property Help Desk.
When Network Rail made the decision to go out to tender for the provision of a new Property Action Line Helpdesk, their preferred approach was for this new project to build on the success of their existing Operational Property Asset System (OPAS), running under ATRIUMproperty
ATRIUM was involved in various initiatives culminating in the OPAS project which provided Network Rail with the capability of surveying all their properties and compiling this information into a single database. This surveying program is concentrating initially on stations. Eventually it will store information down to asset level for all Managed Stations, Franchised Stations, Maintenance Delivery Units (MDUs), Light Maintenance Depots (LMDs), and line-side buildings. ATRIUM has trained over
200 surveyors in the use of the system, and continues to provide consultancy to Network Rail Engineering who own the property portfolio.
