ATRIUM sponsors key event for Local Government Property Asset Managers“Optimising whole life value – best practice in local government strategic property asset management” Page 1 of 2. On Tuesday 10th March 2009 at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London and Thursday 12th March 2009 – Square One, Manchester, ATRIUM Software co-hosted a half day event for local government property and asset managers. This key event focused on the continued importance of strategic property asset management in realising the potential of a Council’s property portfolio and thus maximising the efficient and effective delivery of public services.Full programme and event brochure These two events, which ATRIUM jointly sponsored with Mouchel Group, were extremely successful, exceeding expectations in many ways. We had nearly 100 directors, departmental heads and senior managers from the property asset management sector, representing local authorities and other public sector organisations from across Great Britain. Despite their scale, both events were over-subscribed. We have sent copies of the presentations to all those who were unfortunately unable to attend, and we therefore look forward to being involved in similar events in the future. Feedback has also been extremely positive, with many attendees commenting on the value of being able to hear from four public and private sector speakers, all of whom play a prominent role in local government property asset management, and participate in a discussion on whole life value in public sector property asset management.
