Oliver to walk the Great Wall of China for Charity

Oliver Ridgwell who is part of ATRIUM’s Sales and Marketing team has decided to take part in a walk along the Great Wall of China for Charity.

The walk itself takes place between 20th and 28th March 2010 and covers more than 100km of the wall from Tao Chun to Xinchen. The route will take Oliver along some of the most remote sections of the wall and up some of the steepest and most treacherous sections.

Oliver’s aim is to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as his 10 year old brother, Toby, suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, an incurable muscle wasting disease. The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign have pioneered the search for treatments and cures for 50 years. In 2008 Oliver raised nearly £4000 when he ran the Flora London Marathon and now he wants to raise more!!!
